As the IS Compliance Operations Lead you will actively drive and support ABB IT General controls, oversee, monitor and follows up on the execution of the IT General Controls (ITGC) activities (e.g. Control performance, CPCP, Process walkthrough, etc.). You will execute ITGC assurance initiatives to increase conformance levels for all regulations and internal policies.

IS Department Manager Compliance & Assurance

**Your responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that the IS services and assets are compliant with global ABB IS Risk and Compliance frameworks, requirements, policies, procedures and enterprise standards as well as to external regulations (SOX/Trade/Data Privacy/ESG).
- Ensuring that the Internal Control methodology and frameworks are strictly followed and implemented, the needed skills and capacities are defined and articulated to line management, adequate and competent staffing is secured
- Monitoring, reporting and follow up of control execution and deficiency remediation is secured
- In coordination with Internal Compliance Assurance team, interacts with internal and external auditors and advises internal control owners/performers related to requests from auditors, addressing post-audits recommendations and remediating audit findings in coordination with ICA
- Ensuring appropriate IS Risk and Compliance Management, following ABB and ABB IS methods and standards, policies and procedures and ICA guidance.
- Providing guidance and support to IS compliance involved parties, monitoring and securing task completion, sharing expert knowledge and advice without carrying line responsibility
- Adherence to Corporate IS Policies and Procedures, as well as to both internal regulations and external legislation falls within the area of responsibility of this job

**Your background**:

- 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Experienced in implementing and assuring controls for regulations (SOX, GDPR, Trade Compliance).
- Professional qualification / certifications equivalent to CISA/CISM/CGEIT/CRISC.
- Strong influential leadership skills, with an ability to influence and negotiate.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills with the ability to independently draw conclusions
- Bachelor’s Degree on related discipline. Master’s Degree preferred.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
