**Head of IS Compliance Assurance**:

The Head IS Compliance Assurance is accountable that IS Compliance Assurance is professionally established and maintained to de-risk ABB from impacts of not being compliant. The role holder and it’s team is giving senior advisory to whole of ABB IS (GBS IS and BA IS) on how to deal with external and internal regulations as well as legislative requirements, most importantly on SOX, Data Privacy, Trade Compliance Regulations and ESG Regulations.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Drive maturity growth in IS compliance assurance management
- Secure adequate controls design and professional execution in first line of defense
- Advise and supervise deficiency remediation with the target to get sustainable solutions
- Formulate requirements to IS operational units for foundational services and tools for compliance assurance
- Lead a team of IS Compliance Experts with direct and functional reporting line
- Secure that IS projects are managed and delivered in line with the IS Compliance policies and ABB methodology
- Leading and securing the identification of opportunities for “Inherent & Automated Controls” & support their implementation to drive efficiency in compliance work
- Partner with internal stakeholders, functions and IS organizations, internal/external auditors and strategic vendors to ensure the compliance with regulations

**Your background**:

- Master’s Degree in Information Science and Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
- 15 or more years of relevant experience in IT and specifically in IS operations management, IS risk and compliance, IS audit, senior stakeholder’s management, IS governance
- Strong general and influential leadership skills, high social intelligence
- Strong understanding of relevant regulations and corresponding control objectives for IS
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
