This Position reports to:
Global RA HSE Manager

In this role, you will act as the corporate authority on all security matters, driving a proactive and risk-based approach to protect our people, operations, and reputation. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as Information Systems, Real Estate, HR, and Legal to ensure a holistic and integrated security posture. You will also lead the response to evolving threats, manage crisis situations, and ensure business continuity across diverse geographies and cultures.

You will be responsible for a global network of security focal points and a third-party vendor budget of approximately 500k USD. Your leadership will be critical in embedding a culture of security awareness and resilience throughout the organization.

You will directly oversee two senior security managers with regional and program responsibilities; and you will be reporting directly to the ABB Robotics Global HSE & Security Manager, who reports to ABB Robotics Global Head of Operations.

The work model for this role is **hybrid**.

The role should be located within Europe; preferred locations are Sweden or Switzerland.

**Your responsibilities**:

- **Strategy and Leadership**: Develop and lead global security strategy, consult with senior management across business and other functions, and define organizational structure to support business strategies.

- **Risk Management and Compliance**: Monitor and mitigate security risks, establish standards and guidelines for risk mitigation, ensure regular security reporting and auditing, and ensure implementation of policies and standards.

- **Performance and Improvement**:Define and report on KPIs, monitor security performance, drive continuous improvement, and facilitate sharing of best practices.

- **Programs and Projects**: Oversee core security programs and initiatives, including threat, travel, incident/crisis and physical security management), and manage the respective resources and competencies.

- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Engage with external and internal stakeholders to raise awareness, collaborate with business and function partners, and stay updated on external security trends.

- Manage a global team, budget and third-party vendors to ensure security competence and capacity across all regions.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced studies or certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CSMP) are highly desirable.

- Minimum **10+ years of experience** in security management, with at least **5 years in a leadership role**.

- Proven experience in managing global security programs, with a special focus on crisis management and travel security.

- Strong background in program and functional management, and stakeholder engagement.

- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.

- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
