Performance Marketing Manager

VANS EMEA is looking for an exceptional Performance Marketing Manager to join our eCommerce Team team based in Stabio, Switzerland.

Let’s Talk about the Role

You as Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible to lead the VANS EMEA eCommerce marketing strategy across all digital marketing channels with the objective of driving a sustainable eCommerce growth, new customer acquisition and deliver strategic projects.

You will manage a multi-million budget across multiple digital channels and drive the overall effectiveness of the performance marketing channels to ensure business target are met.

You will be involved in and oversee, together with the channels coordinators (team of 2 people) all aspects of the ecommerce marketing strategy, including creating plans and roadmaps to achieve sales goals, proactively contributing to the improvement of campaign performance, identifying potential problems related to campaigns and proposing and executing solutions as well as areas that can be grown.

As Performance Marketing Manager, you will have a strong background in performance media, specifically Paid Search, Affiliate marketing, Paid Social and knowledge of SEO and CRM.

How You Will Make a Difference
- Lead and develop the growth of Performance Marketing channels with the objective to maximise sales and profitability
- Develop a robust Performance Marketing strategy, action plan and roadmap in-line with targets and key initiatives in collaboration with the media agency and the channels coordinators (performance media, SEO, CRM)
- Manage budget forecast and continuously monitoring costs and return on spend for eCommerce on a yearly, quarterly, and monthly basis
- Collaborate with the Trade & Merchandising team to drive the go to market strategy and key commercial events
- Work closely with the media & marketing teams to establish and define a full-funnel strategy in-line with eCommerce KPIs, goals and priorities
- Responsible for identifying new opportunities and solutions across digital platforms and markets
- Responsible for the relationships with external parties, including Google, Facebook agencies

Skills for Success

You should be an expert Performance Marketing professional, with analytical, creative and critical thinking, eager to work in a fast paced environment.
- 3+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced eCommerce environment in a Performance Marketing role
- Proven experience in managing multi million budgets
- Strong knowledge in Paid Search, Affiliate, Paid Social, SEO and decent knowledge in eMail marketing & CRM
- Analytical skills & able to evaluate facts, data and information effectively. Ability to report on performance metrics & formulate strategic implications based on data.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset, driven by results
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks

A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements.
