Overview & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable individual to join our organization as a Field Service Manager to cover the European region.

Job Specific Tasks:

- Manages the project side of the field service department to properly satisfy all technical and commercial requirements in liaison with EMA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) technical services managers.
- Coordinates all field service activities such as Installations, Turnarounds, Breakdowns and troubleshooting.
- Provides training and develops project engineers, project managers, service engineers and service representatives as required and ensure availability of work / job related certificates and HSE/Q compliance.
- In liaison with EMA Technical Services Manager, investigates product troubles, develops and co-ordinates corrective action.
- In liaison with EMA Technical Services Manager and Contracts & Customer Services Manager acts as service consultant to customers, field personnel and other Elliott departments.
- Provides financial forecast data.
- Forecasts manpower requirements, controls utilization of assigned personnel, hires new employees and contract personnel as required in liaison with Head of Operation.
- Initiates procedures as required to maintain and enhance the ISO 9001 quality system.
- Initiates procedures as required to maintain and enhance the health and safety system.
- Assist service sales technically and commercially in the selling process of installation and maintenance projects.
- Signs off expense reports and time summaries.
- Checks and approves field invoices assists in collection efforts of overdue receivables.

Travel

50% Travel expected within Europe to customer sites.

2-3 times a month for 1-3 days per visit.
