**Location**:
This position can be located in either our corporate office in New York, US; or alternatively in Baar, Switzerland.

Overview:
Reporting to the Chairman, the Global Head of Security is the most senior security executive accountable for the management and direction of the Aman’s corporate and hotel physical security, life safety, emergency preparedness, insider threat, and crisis management.

The role provides critical safety and security direction and support to the Hotel General Manager. Furthermore, the person will work with Development team related to new projects on all aspects related to safety and security, ensuring compliance to best practise Aman Standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the hotel General Manager for all issues related to safety and security.
- Support senior leadership for all operational matters relating to security.
- All head of security at the properties has a dotted reporting line into this position, in addition to reporting into GM of each property
- Establishing best practice security and safety standards across all Aman hotels and corporate offices
- Develop and direct training programs to ensure proper enactment of the SOPs
- Assess all operations on compliance to security and safety standards.
- Providing guidance for capital investment for security and safety
- Establishing crises management plan for operations at resort level and corporate level
- Act as crisis coordinator for Aman Crisis management team during crises
- Keeps up to date on global security, political developments - provide guidance and briefs to ExCom

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Must have thorough understanding of luxury hospitality
- Minimum 10 years’ experience (Law enforcement, military, and/or Corporate Security)
- Demonstrated international experience/exposure
- Proficient in all common IT programs and good presentation skills
- Positive, engaging and energetic personality
- Very high attention to detail
- Sensitive to cultural nuances
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, fast paced environment
- Good people skills and the ability to work under pressure and with various stakeholders
