**Location: EUCAN - occasional on-site presence in Zurich will be required**
**Job Overview**:
- Drive market access initiatives across Europe and Canada region that ensure commercial success of predominantly Neuro-Science franchise in a competitive and regulated healthcare environment.
- Collaborate and be part of a core cross-functional team at regional level, and work closely with all partners (commercial, medical affairs, regulatory affairs, health economics, pricing teams), from local, regional and global offices.
- Contribute and drive PVA Operational excellence initiatives to support excellence in strategy adoption across the region, enhance regional coordination and maximize EUCAN access roadmap planning and execution
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement market access plans and initiatives for EUCAN region supporting key therapeutic areas and predominantly NS franchise to ensure brands commercial optimization.
- Collaborate with commercial and medical teams to enhance value proposition through materials, including value dossiers, health economic evidence, training materials enhancing value perception and ensuring excellence in strategy execution across the region
- Contribute to pricing and reimbursement optimization strategy, including development of pricing analysis, supporting pricing research, and ensuring P&R guidance are implemented across the region.
- Ensure fit-for-purpose input from region to local strategy and support negotiation preparedness.
- Collaborate cross-geographies and cross-functionally with GPA, EUCAN Region and LOCs in various projects to enhance operationalizing the access strategy and continue enhancing access capabilities across the company. Has responsibility for project management and results.
- Develop plan and support preparation of forecasting activities and/or periodic management reports.
- Identify and monitor market access trends, reimbursement policies, and coverage decisions, and provide strategic guidance and insights to internal stakeholders on potential impacts to the business.
**Education, Experience & Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field; advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MBA, MPH) preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in market access, pricing and reimbursement, or related roles in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare systems, payer environments, and reimbursement policies across global markets and specifically European markets. Familiarity with medical, commercial and market access success factors for key markets.
- Ability to develop understanding of global drug commercialization processes as well as knowledge of therapeutic area under responsibility.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams / cross countries engagement, and proven cross-functional matrix collaboration able to operate at director/associate director level internationally
- Experience in implementing market access strategies, conducting health economic analyses, and negotiating with payers and government agencies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing environments.
