Summary

The Manager, Performance Strategy and Analytics will provide senior leadership team with information on relevant regional and industry trends, supported by full strategic and tactical implications analysis. He/She leverages analytics to lead strategic initiatives and guide decision making across all functions within Commercial Services. He/she will also design and prepare reporting tools and dashboards to support the Corporate office and hotels teams in planning and monitoring.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Proactively gather information to drive performance across all Commercial Services functions
- Understand functions/businesses needs and gather data from various sources/systems to make them available to relevant stakeholders and support strategic initiatives
- Perform periodic research of business scenarios using databases, financial systems, data warehouses and other internal resources
- Develop dashboarding reporting for key internal executives and hotels teams to monitor business activity and provide scheduled updates to management
- Measure effectiveness of new programs, marketing activities and provide updates to management
- Develop key assumptions through analytics to be used in decision making
- Collaborate in or lead cross-functional projects
- Manage key hotel-facing performance measures and take responsibility for interaction with stakeholders across the region
- Organize systems trainings and work together with relevant teams in best use of analytics and systems to monitor ongoing activity and help fostering a data culture within the region
- Provide support in improving business processes, systems implementation and data quality/accuracy

**Qualifications**:

- High degree of personal and professional savvy and experience which instills confidence among all internal and external audiences.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an analytical or technical position
- Bachelor’s/Master degree in business administration, economics, operations research, finance, statistics or computer science
- Expert knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access, VBA, Cognos and Tableau
- Knowledge of SQL language and use of SQL to extract data from a database
- Preferred experience in revenue management or other Commercial Services function
- Conceptual, strategic and creative thinker, with unquestionable integrity.
- Agile, stimulated by challenges, open-minded.
- Excellent communication skills, able to develop relationships and effectively communicate at all levels of the organization
- Fluency in English (verbal/written) is a must
- Ability and willingness to travel occasionally (5-10% of time)
