**Job Description**:
**We are looking for an **Area Sales Manager Salomon Road Run W/M** to**:
- Drive sales and promote the brand to achieve significant sales targets for Salomon Road Run
- Ensure an exceptional consumer experience at his / her assigned accounts and OMNI channel touchpoints
- Build partnerships with key specialty running retailers by developing joint plans to serve the consumer that benefit both Salomon and the retailer
**You will work in close collaboration with our Market Manager, ASM, Customer Service, Shopper Marketing, Influencer Marketing, KAM** **departments.**
**You will report directly to the Market Manager Road Run EMEA.**
**Main Activities**:
**Sales & Distribution**
- Achieve the seasonal sales and distribution targets in the defined territory
- Develop a seasonal “game plan” to drive Salomon brand guidelines, strategies and priorities (PP Road Run)
- Build, present and coordinate seasonal joint Business/Marketing plans with assigned Road Run Experts that deliver on strategic objectives of Salomon and maximizes consumer preference and brand experience
- Meet the seasonal key product category objectives in sales and distribution
- Identify territory sales, distribution and promotion opportunities
- Take care of all the customer related topics - sales and accounting aspects
**Sell Thru & Consumer Experience**
- Ensure a high level of product expertise and brand knowledge (Shop Pro Training) for store employees in Road Run Experts and selected category specialty doors for a best in class consumer experience
- Increase and maximize Salomon in-store brand visibility and image through defined product assortments and seasonal key story packages
- Manage and execute local consumer activations / events in Road Run Expert Network as required
- Coordinate a seamless sell-thru execution, utilizing internal resources (shopper, customer service, IMM)
**Relationship**
- Develop and maintain great working relationships with key personnel in each account
- Develop and maintain close cooperation with Salomon ASM / KAM community
- Develop and maintain relationship with local sports environment / community (clubs, resorts, event) in Cooperation with IMM Run
**Reporting**
- Prepare and review customer performance report on seasonal basis
- Analyze and report competitor distribution, in-store presence and offer
- Information to Market Manager of trade related information on an ongoing basis
- Complete all reports and records required and submit on a timely basis
- Share best practice across sales and marketing team
**Qualifications**:
- **
Needed Work Experience**: At least 5 years of experience in sales with a **strong Running / Footwear** **expertise**. Any other experience in the Sports and Outdoor Industry will be welcomed.
- ** Education**: High school level education minimum/Degree level ideally
- ** Foreign Language(s)**: Fluent English, German and French
- ** IT Skills**: Microsoft office - particularly strong excel skills. Sales Tools (sales portal, B2B, SFA)
