**Finance Intern at EF Zurich Headquarters (6-8 months)**

**The Role**

We are looking for a self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to be directly involved in the accounting for the EF Tours division in Zurich, Switzerland.

This internship provides excellent opportunities to build experience, and from the start you will work closely with your manager as a key contributor in quarterly closing procedures. You will also have opportunities to work on individual and team projects such as process improvement.

**Major responsibilities**
- Working with a team on the accounting of Swiss legal entity
- Support in the accounts payable process for worldwide vendors
- Communicate directly with Operations teams in Europe, APAC & LATAM to support with invoices, deposits, and prepayments
- Reconcile and monitor major accounts for accuracy and timeliness
- Working with the Controllers in Zurich to ensure correctness of operational accounting
- Contribute to various monthly and quarterly financial closing tasks
- Develop and improve internal controls while maintaining efficiency

**Qualifications**
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/ Finance/ Economics or similar
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong competence in MS Excel and main functions
- High level of comfort with a fast-paced environment
- Energetic personality with a positive attitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Independent worker and self-starter
- Prior experience in the accounting field is not a requirement, but relevant experience is considered an advantage
- Strong communication skills and fluency in both written and spoken English
- Competencies in other languages is considered an advantage.
