In this role, you will provide leadership, management and coordination of the Operational Excellence Project Engineering team in Europe.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Manages and leads the team for developing, implementing and facilitating successful on-boarding of digital solutions, adoption of digital platform and solutions into the customer business environment together with its subsequent operations and maintenance.
- Provides consultative assistance in supporting the use of products with the goal of improving productivity and efficiency.
- Ensures thorough testing and troubleshooting of the final system setup and its successful rollout through effective training.
- Exhibits an understanding of how to best configure and implement software. Confirms all resources are in place to implement software on-time and on budget.
- Software Engineering expertise & Leadership: Manages and leads the team (direct and indirect) to perform a variety of software engineering tasks in their assigned area of software development / software quality engineering / software testing / DevOPS / cyber security / software release / support and maintenance / release management
- Ensure project completion within assigned budget and drive productivity improvement for the Operational Excellence portfolio (MES/MOM, Production intelligence, industry-specific value chain, Data integration, Enterprise analytics)
- Technical sales support: Manages the end-to end technical sales support in close coordination with sales to identify the customer’s needs, develop, demonstrate and articulate the features of the digital solution and how it can best suit customer needs.
- Collaboration & teamwork: Develop strategic partnership with OPC, other regional engineering teams, engineering solutions providers to manage resources requirement - Drive execution efficiency for Operational Excellence portfolio in the region & meet/exceed gross margin target.
- Continuously drives quality, delivery process improvement actions using standard builds. Collaborate with other regions and the BL Digital Global Operations Manager for standardization.
- Customer Centricity & Support: Ensure digital solution(s) and value proposition are aligned with customer requirements and business objectives. This is done by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen & collaborating with consulting team for solutions & industry. Responsible for providing engineering estimate to Proposal team & complete Project delivery Risk Assessment.
- Leadership and development: Develop and execute strategic plan for skills enhancement, team augmentation within the region to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
- Excellent People & team management and effective communication skills. Provides direction and mentoring to direct & indirect sales team to ensure selection of the right projects
- Take calculated risk for supporting digital growth.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s / Masters Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related technical field
- 15 plus years’ experience driving digital Project execution for complex global organizations, ideally in a B2B environment (Process, Energy, software, technology, automation), hands-on experience of the OT / software industry business with focus on digitalization and Industrial Software. Deep understanding of relevant technologies and trends
- Proven track record in Engineering and Project delivery management, strong customer focus, exposure to customer top management, driving results and turning opportunities into project successes
- Extensive project execution experience in the implementation of MES solutions, through a full lifecycle from requirements gathering to aftermarket support. Solid understanding of customer data integration requirements across automation and corporate network levels
- Deep experience in the industrial software environment; Division-specific industry exposure (e.g. industrial automation/advanced software) preferred; experience and background in either one or more of the Division i
