Events and Community Lead Europe

We are looking for a Community & Events Lead Europe to strategically elevate On's consumer-facing brand experience and foster community to impact run culture, contributing to On's mission to be the number 1 brand on runners' feet. In this new role, you will craft the regional Community & Events framework that will be activated locally, play a leading role in developing, organising innovative event formats and partnerships in our key European markets. On is a brand built around movement that celebrates the human spirit in everything we do and the Community & Events team plays a key role in bringing our community together to celebrate our mission.

Your Mission:

- Develop the strategic vision, roadmap, and toolkit for owned and partnered events in Europe to amplify our key marketing messages
- Pioneer the development of a scalable consumer-branded experience, that demonstrates our brand values and differentiators, allowing On to show up where runners are in highly relevant ways
- Develop the regional playbook for Key City community building, partnering closely with the regional cross-functional team and the local Community & Events Specialist to grow and engage our communities in a culturally relevant way
- Own On's brand ambassador program R/O/C Crew end to end for the region, establishing a runner pathway from beginner to pro
- Manage On's charity and social partner program Right to Run, to make running accessible to all and give people the space to dream
- Create and deliver energizing experiences for our Pacer Program (retailers and runners) and OAC Europe Team as part of the wider European marketing roadmap
- Be the connective tissue between Global - Region - Countries marketing and brand teams, and provide support to local teams for all things communities and events

Your Story:

- 5+ years experience in leading events, building communities and brand partnership campaigns end to end
- You are a real expert in your field and thrive in a cross-functional team, you’ve worked in a creative environment (strategy, ideation, pitching ideas, execution) with a creative mindset and solution-oriented way of thinking
- You are a digital native, and understand how to craft and implement consumer-centric storytelling
- Calling you an expert in organizing different events formats (online, offline) doesn't even begin to do your knowledge and experience justice
- Responsible, resilient, and adaptable, you take pride in your ability to manage a wide range of projects while always delivering the WOW
- You believe every problem is solvable, and let creativity mixed with pragmatism lead you to the solution
- You're passionate about finding new ways to innovate, optimize and increase efficiency

- This role is based in Zurich and requires travel based on business needs
