**VP - Head Medical Affairs EMEA (f/m/d)**

**ROLE PURPOSE**:

We are looking for an experienced senior medical affairs leader to deploy their medical affairs expertise to empower people to live better lives through science-led self-care. If that is you, you would join a global leadership team with a passion to harness every individual’s set of skills in our goal to empower everyday health, specifically leading Bayer Consumer Health’s Medical Affairs team in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

As a senior leader in Bayer’s scientific community, you will have overall accountability for the Consumer Health medical operations and strategy in EMEA, which includes delivering evidence generation requirements, medical information, and management processes, and fostering collaborative relationships with internal and external partners. Whilst also leading the team by actively modelling our commitment to a diverse and inclusive culture and fostering a culture of performance.

You will serve on Bayer’s Global Regulatory, Medical, Safety and Product Compliance Leadership team, and be a key representative of the Bayer’s Consumer Health EMEA Executive Leadership team. You’ll work collaboratively to actively shape and champion global medical and regulatory priorities and be tasked with balancing both a regional and global mindset.

**YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead, develop and direct the Medical Affairs Team in a region to ensure consumer centricity, innovation and medical excellence & governance
- Provide management support to the medical & business leadership team and to business initiatives and processes
- Foster the business growth and sustainability by managing medical and clinical processes and activities in alliance with the overall strategy
- Shape and drive the implementation of medical strategy, tailored to the special needs of the region
- Actively support the organization with product-related issue and risk management activities
- Leverage the full capabilities of your organization and peers by ensuring the workplace is inclusive
- Continue to adopt digital tools and capabilities to garner insights and increase effectiveness

**WHO ARE YOU**

Education: Strong background in life sciences minimum BSc; preference is a Medical Doctor, pharmacist, PharmD etc.

**Experience**:

- Proven track record in the consumer health Medical Affairs industry or related positions
- Extensive experience in managing functions and teams across cultures and geographies
- Demonstrated ability to work in a medical capacity leading business strategy, while ensuring appropriate governance
- Demonstrated ability to create relationships with KoL’s and drive for a better business result
