Financial Accountant

**After closing our $80M Series B funding this spring, we are thriving in a fast-paced hypergrowth environment. We are now looking for a new colleague to become our Financial Accountant in Zurich**

As a Financial Accountant you are part of Yokoy’s Finance team in Zurich. You are responsible for the preparation of financial accounts, subledger bookings, monitoring billing activities and preparation of financial reports. Your main focus is to ensure that monthly statements and reportings are correct and accurate.

**What you’ll do**:

- Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual closing of accounts in compliance with local GAAPs and IFRS
- Independent management of bookkeeping for multiple entities
- Own day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, general ledger entries, intercompany invoicing, processing of payments and fixed assets
- Ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness and accuracy
- Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports and statements
- Responsible for tax related matters including tax declarations (annual tax return, VAT declaration etc.)
- Help to develop and continuously improve Yokoy’s finance system and process landscape
- Work with our internal and external stakeholders and take care of the accounting-related tasks and questions
- Support in financial audits, including preparing supporting documentation and walkthrough of accounting processes

**What you’ll need**:

- You have 3+ years of experience in Accounting, preferably in an international environment
- Professional Finance and Accounting qualification, university/master degree in Finance and Accounting or similar
- You are fluent in German and English
- Strong analytical skills and good technical accounting knowhow
- Team spirit, high level of commitment and independent working style with a structured approach to work
- You are open minded and willing to learn from new challenges
- You are a person who likes to grow with the company and is capable of adapting to a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
- You have a positive and collaborative “can-do” approach
