This is what you can move
- Translate business area strategy and direction into marketing strategies to facilitate business area growth; Identify and exploit new business opportunities to improve market share and product profitability by designing, executing and interpreting well thought out global marketing initiatives, e.g. entry into new clinical fields/ procedures/ conditions / business models,
- Team up with Global Medical Affairs and the Regions to drive Medela’s solution to standard of care by creating and executing value-based messaging, strategic clinical programs and commercial innovation
- Foster collaboration within the organization and focus on driving value to customers; Track relevant KPIs and ensure constant learning; Enable exchange, involvement and alignment between Regions and key countries; Facilitate best practice sharing; Provide support for implementing go-to-market strategies
- Continuously explore the solution space of chest drainage and technological advances to enhance recovery after surgery; Monitor research and clinical practice, competitive landscape, market trends and relevant technologies; Monitor target audiences changing needs and preferences by actively conducting Voice of the Customer
- Drive innovation by defining desirable, viable, feasible solutions that meet customer needs and support development across the product lifecycle ensuring that the maximum value is achieved;
- Perform upstream marketing activities to shape product and service development; When needed, independently present business cases and recommend pipeline projects by assessing business, technical and clinical feasibilities of leading concepts, addressing key non-technical risks and questions and by defining the project scope

What you bring along
- Bachelor/Master degree in related field and strong business acumen
- 5 years relevant work experience in the healthcare industry, with experience in the Medical Device sector; Prior exposure to postoperative care preferred
- Solid knowledge in managing medical device product lines and projects including Marketing, Product Management, Product Marketing; Prior experience with early-stage new product development is preferred
- Demonstrated strong affinity for UX design & data as a platform (DAAP) and clinical integration
- Ability to effectively influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders and develop strong relationships with customers and internal multi-functional partners; Prior experience managing advisors
- Good problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills and attention to detail as well as ability to manage multiple tasks through effective prioritization
- Ability to push self and others to achieve challenging goals and objectives with a track record of executional successes based on integrity
- Fluent in English and German,, open to travel internationally up to 30%
