Proclinical are recruiting a DSP Area Owner for a pharmaceutical corporation. This role is on a contract basis and is located in Visp. The client is focused on facilitating remedies that prevent disease as well as assist with healthier lifestyles.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the area from the end of detailed design to the end of engineering runs of the first product induction.
- Manage engineering signoff on all lifecycle documents.
- Serve as a site main point of contact as well as provide technical assistance for Engineering design, Construction, CQV, Automation, Calibrations, MSAT, Plant engineering and operations.
- You will be Equipment Owner for the DSP area of a CHO manufacturing facility containing chromatography, viral filtration and UFDF skids and related process support equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned to this role.

**Key Skills and Requirements**:

- Educated to a degree level in an engineering discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in a full-scale large molecule drug substance facility.
- At least 5 years of experience in an engineering package owner role.
- Past involvement in working from design to commercial as an engineering package owner on a full-scale start-up project.
- Know-how of CHO separation and purification procedures.
- Expertise of CIP and SIP design for downstream.
- Capable of down streaming recipe design as well as comprehension of all operational processes.
- Know-how of DIN dimensional standards, typical piping specifications, and ASME-BPE.
- Comprehension of the design procedure on a large start-up and of the CQV lifecycle.
- Comprehension of tech transfer and MSAT procedure and process descriptions.
- Acquaintance working with vendors in assistance of site optimisations.
