For our Site in Visp, we’re looking for a Material Bioprocess Manager (m/w/d). This role manages all materials in module L and ensures the timely availability of materials to support the activities on the shopfloor. This requires close collaboration with the Mint USP/DSP team, but also with all key functions of the supply chain. Additionally, it is required to collaborate with the shop floor teams to support effective and efficient use of materials.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage all material processes in module L to ensure material availability for production
- Pro-actively seek to understand planned USP/DSP work
- Closely collaborate with the shop floor teams to support effective and efficient use of materials
- First contact for various stakeholders for material-related topics, representing interest of area / unit
- Ensures the implementation of the required work in the assigned work area under the applicable guidelines (GMP, quality) in the teams
- Continually looks for opportunities for improvement and assists staff in brainstorming ideas and implementing them.
- Represents material management related topics during customer audits and visits
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Key requirements:

- BSc / Master Degree
- Preferred area of study: Biotechnology, Biochemistry or related disciplines
- Good biotechnology expertise; Fluent English skills, good German skills are an advantage; basic GMP understanding
- Good leadership skills; good communication skills and interaction with all kinds of interfaces within the organization; strong team orientation
- Structured, focused and well-organized working attitude; open-minded for new ideas and suggestions; high motivation and dynamic drive; solution-oriented
- Lean or Green Belt Six Sigma certification a plus
- SAP ERP knowledge a Plus
