The site in Visp is growing and for Ibex Solutions, our recently launched unique biological manufacturing and development concept in Visp, Switzerland, we are currently looking for a Head of Buffer Media Supply, who leads and develops a group dedicated to the production of buffers and media according to well-defined quality standards for internal and external customers. You will balance resources against demand, and adapt the group accordingly. In that context, you will be also responsible for the costs and all related activities including the appropriate use of computerized systems for the planning and supply of materials, quality management, global costing and manufacturing execution.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead and develop the Buffer Media Supply group as part of the leadership team
- Timely and cost efficient production of buffer and media according to GMP regulations including documentation
- Align activities to key interfaces and stakeholders (Manufacturing, supply chain, QA, QC)
- Continuous improvement of production processes in terms of workflow, quality and efficiency
- Implement innovation in processes and equipment
- Support customer audits and agency inspections
- Support installation, qualification and maintenance activities
- Contribute to quality assurance activities (DEVI, CAPA, FI, Changes, RA, training)

Key requirements:

- Master or Bachelor degree in Biotechnology or other relevant areas (with equivalent experience)
- Significant leadership experience in Biopharma manufacturing
- Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate internally and externally at higher levels
- Very good understanding of business and financial processes
- Fluent in English, German nice to have
- Green Belt certification preferred
- Detail oriented with exceptional organizational skills and a structured and proactive working attitude
- Open-minded for new ideas with a highly collaborative and strong team oriented attitude
