In this role you will be responsible for the long-term profitable growth and marketing of the PAMA service & digital offering to targeted market segments, by developing and managing it through all of its life cycle phases, according to market needs and Product Group strategy and targets.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Lead market intelligence analysis for service business for BL INS. Understand and define current market segmentation and related service positioning. Identify potential gaps in portfolio, both against competition and new market opportunity.
- Own the technical and market specification for the service portfolio and determine a service business plan that supports sustainable growth. Lead life cycle management process, define and track performance metrics, plan appropriate measures (e.g. enhancements, cost reductions, phase-outs) and make decisions on service offering obsolescence and end-of life to ensure current and future market requirements are met and maximize profitability.
- Define new service plans, set technical, price, cost and capital expenditure tar-gets. Contribute to development of new portfolios by leading customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value, follow-up of service portfolio performance. Prioritize new service development projects with responsibility for achievement of targets (product characteristics, time, costs, capital expenditure, pay-back) and coordinating cross-functional teams. Own and approve defined service development process stage gates. Continuously develop product management processes and tools, including interfaces to other key functions.
- Initiate and drive product market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation. Manage different channel to market scenarios in coordination with channel partners and Marketing & Sales to ensure best market coverage.
- Responsible for product/system/service profitability and margin. Drive the annual business planning process and facilitate agreement between sales demand and supply. Monitor global sales target fulfilment and tender volumes and act as appropriate. Define product customer value proposition per segment and channel and ensure clear communication to channels and users, service positioning within the portfolio with defined values per service line.
- Initiate and drive cross functional and cross-organization product and solution innovation teams, monitors development of all standards and market trends and provide inputs to Research & Development (R&D) for patent screening process and intellectual property rights protection.
- Ensure (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Guide, motivate and develop direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.

**Your background**:

- Minimum 8 years of experience in Product management function. Overall experience around 12 years demonstrable experience in executing successful product launches.
- Understanding of after sales and service business for Instrumentation products and offerings
- Educational qualification - Engineer with Instrumentation or Electronics branch. MBA will be an added advantage
- Ability to get results in a global business through influence and collaboration
- Good hands-on knowledge about field instrumentation products like flow meters, flow computers, pressure, level, temperature, actuators and positioners.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good exposure to latest trends on Digital, Industry 4.0 and innovative business models.
- Ability to handle ambiguity and be a fast learner.
