**Global Product Group Manager - Building & Home Automation Solutions**:

The Global Product Group (GPG) Manager Building & Home Automation Solutions has a specific mandate to lead the Division’s way into the future of Building & Home Automation Solutions. He/she will get the opportunity to rethink the current Product Portfolio, the related business models and the go-to-market strategy in order to position ABB at the forefront of digitally driven Building Automation, a segment of high strategic relevance for ABB.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Drive GPG profitable growth strategy setting a customer-centric and market driven strategic direction globally. Sets and delivers product, solutions, systems and service strategy, including product innovation and make or buy strategies.
- Responsible for identification, exploration and implementation of technology/product development and growth strategies within the GPG to enhance and secure ABB´s global position and profitability in the medium/long term.
- Realize the potential of the developed product portfolio, by optimizing the Go-to-Market strategy including leveraging e-commerce opportunities, direct customer interaction models or innovative channel management, partnership and alliances.
- Attract, develop and motivate top-class team with a digital mindset. Act as innovation catalyst for the whole Product Group and beyond.
- Ensures robust analysis of trends / changes in the market and customer dynamics and identifies opportunities for growth. Drives market penetration, including leveraging on cross-selling opportunities to maximize organic growth.
- Identifies and pursues opportunities for Mergers and Acquisitions, as well as Partnerships and Joint Ventures to drive inorganic growth.
- Ensures that the product portfolio is highly relevant for ABBs business customers as well as consumers by conducting own market research but also by close collaboration with Sales and Marketing units globally.

**Your background**:

- 15+ years of management and successful leadership experience, preferably with full P&L responsibility in a global organization
- University degree (Masters preferred) in Engineering and/or Business
- Demonstrable experience in leading a global team, defining strategy in an international industrial environment
- Demonstrable commercial expertise that has proved decisive in growing a global business
- Strategic thinking, competence in analyzing and managing complex business situations
- Strong team building & networking capability, inclusive leader
- Product knowledge of Electrification business (low voltage and building automation) is a strong advantage
- International experience / global mindset/ teamwork and collaboration in an international environment is essential
- as is fluency in English; any other language is a plus
