**Head of Enterprise Architecture**:

In this role you will be responsible to define and deliver the global IS Enterprise Architecture and IS Enterprise Architecture roadmap for ABB’s Enterprise Technology and Data landscape over the 3 to 5 years. You will ensure Enterprise Technology Architecture alignment and compliance across ABB Businesses, IS Services, Functions, and R&D. You will set architectural direction supporting an increase in InfoSec/CyberSec resilience, reduction of IS landscape complexity, and time-to-market for digital products and services. This role will moderate the technology transformation efforts across ABB in order to maximize benefits, minimize risk, and manage dependencies. It will lead the alignment of major transformation programs with the target architecture and architecture principles and represent architecture function in the IS Strategy pillar, ensuring global alignment. The location of the role is flexible with a preference for a European time zone.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Defines and owns ABB’s global IS Enterprise Architecture and IS Enterprise Architecture roadmap for Enterprise Technology and Data for the next 3-5 years.
- Ensures Enterprise Technology Architecture alignment and compliance across ABB Businesses, IS Services, Functions, Digital Organization and R&D.
- Defines strategic direction for IS Innovation in ABB.
- Moderates the technology transformation efforts across ABB Businesses, IS Services, Functions, and R&D
- Leverages the role of IS as a key enabler for Digital Transformation across ABB Businesses, IS Services, and support functions through high-impact IS Innovation initiatives.
- Chairs IS Architecture Council and IS Innovation Council, ensuring global alignment across senior-level management of ABB Businesses and supporting organizations.

**Your background**:

- More than 15 years of relevant working experience (e.g. in IT Architecture, Innovation, in large complex organizations)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in senior leadership role connected with technology
- Curiosity to learn about potentially relevant new technologies and see their implications and possible uses
- Broad network within the technology industry (inc. know-how of best practices)
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Extensive experience in diverse organizational setups: enterprise, vendor, start-up, and academic is a significant advantage
