Dtc Payment Risk Manager

At a Glance

As the DTC Payment Risk Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and implementing On’s payment risk strategy, including setting and monitoring fraud and risk policies. You understand fraud typologies in the payments sector, and you are familiar with fraud prevention frameworks and tools. Working in close cooperation with data analysts, tech teams, E-commerce and customer service teams around the globe is a must, to build a solid fraud prevention roadmap, drive security projects, and provide high quality recommendations to all teams faced with fraud attacks. You will assess potential areas of risk and proactively mitigate them to minimise potential losses resulting from fraud.

Your Team

The Direct-to-Consumer Operations & Strategic Projects team is in charge of providing an efficient and scalable operational backbone, and executing strategic initiatives to enable high and sustainable growth for the DTC business while providing best-in-class customer experience. We work closely with all functions within DTC and other functions such as supply chain and technology to implement key strategic and operational initiatives across all regions. In order to have an impact on how On’s DTC business develops, the team brings an entrepreneurial and results-driven mindset combined with strong analytical and hands-on execution skills.

Your Mission
- Develop a comprehensive payment risk strategy to prevent fraud
- Ensure fraud and reputational risk levels are not surpassed (meeting KPIs & KRIs)
- Monitor the performance of the current risk framework and continuously improve it
- Manage both the tactical firefighting incidents and the strategic approach for fire prevention
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis on past fraud events to identify new fraud patterns
- Evaluate fraud risks associated with new product launches, new territory expansions and changes to existing products, payment methods, etc.
- Manage chargebacks and prepare corresponding loss-reporting

Your Story
- Experience in online payments, e-commerce, or financial services
- Risk management experience or experience in a related field
- Effective in creating and influencing policies and organisation-wide product feature roadmaps
- Ability to solve complex problems and perform in a fast-paced environment
- Organised, structured thinker with the ability to exercise creative
- Ability to analyse large volumes of data and a logical and high-level approach to problem-solving
- Comfortable in managing high-pressure situation while maintaining a positive and dynamic work attitude
- Able to display a high degree of confidentiality and discretion
- Team player that enjoys to help others to solve problems and support them in achieving their goals
