As a host you create an environment that promotes teamwork, mutual respect, happiness and great communication.

You will be the first point of contact to 600 team members, guests and partners at our front desk. You are at your best when working dynamically, coordinating and organising, communicating, finding solutions and thinking outside the box.

The Hospitality team empowers people through meaningful collaboration and a positive mindset. We strive to rethink the status quo and grow together establishing On Labs Zurich to an amazing place to be, work and create.

Your Mission:

- Be On’s host and act as a central point of contact for internal and external inquiries
- Create a vibrant office culture and organise community events
- Take ownership of creating the best working environment for the teams and drive engaging, positive and clear communication
- Be in close collaboration with our partners Roots and Collective Bakery
- Plan and organise internal events/conferences
- Coordinate catering needs, prepare meetings and collaborate on various ad-hoc topics
- Become a jack of all trades by being trained as a barista
- Approach challenges in a proactive and creative way
- Contribute to a strong office culture and spirit
- Work with the Hospitality Team and beyond on long-term projects

Your Story:

- 5+ years of previous experience in a similar role and/or events/hospitality background
- A warm, patient and joyful attitude is a must, committed to delivering exceptional guest service with dedication and positivity
- Strong organisational skills and ‘hands on’ work attitude with profound attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and get things done in a constantly changing environment
- Highly organised, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under time pressure
- Initiative-driven personality, capable of shaping the role in a creative way
- Proficiency in English and German/ Swiss-German
