WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SITE PLANT QUALITY MANAGER TO JOIN OUR TEAM
*
Your Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates leadership and commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ). Actively encourages and leads the HZI and contractor teams to implement and comply with project HSEQ requirements
- Ensures site quality management system complies with the requirements of ISO 9001, the client and HZI
- Enforces Site Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) measures / procedures including inspection of incoming goods
- Ensures that inspections with authorities are organised and carried out on time and that Site staff are adequately briefed
- Ensures that final assembly check (MEC) is performed promptly after the end of assembly
- Checks the mounting evidence related documentation (quality documentation) of assembly companies
- Checks individual components in the light of progress mounting
- Is responsible for installation companies in standards and contract variations
- Ensures that required certificates are available and valid
- Ensures that approved testing equipment is calibrated and used properly
- Participates in the review and approval of assembly test plans and other quality-related documents (e.g. manufacturer approvals, process skills, personnel qualifications, inspection instructions) before installation
- Coordinates QA / QC activities between customer / partners in consultation with the site management
- Manages Site Quality team
- Delivers Lessons Learned and feedback for current and future projects
- Keeps the Site Manager informed of all site related activities
- Is aware of the HSE requirements relevant to their role, and implements and complies with them
Job specific qualification:
- Relevant **professional experience in plant or in one of the sub-boiler, steel, equipment, piping**
- **German and English fluent **
- Welding Technical training (e.g. Welding Specialist, Welding Engineer)
- Relevant **professional experience as a construction, assembly or IB head in plant / power plant construction**
- Minimum of **8 years of experience** in the area of quality supervision in construction
- **Lead Auditor ISO 9001**
- Knowledge of relevant **HSEQ** legal and management system requirements
- **Valid Safety Contractors Certificate (SCC), Safepass (ROI), CSCS or CCNSG card or equivalent**
