The position holder will directly lead three employees (Safety Quality Specialists) and 7 additional Operational Quality Representatives (Matrix-Organization).
He/ She will act as point of contact for Operational Leadership team, corporate Quality and OSHE organization to support and coordinate initiatives.

Your tasks
- Ensure safety & quality standards to identify gaps and initiating effective preventive actions
- Challenge and follow up on Root Cause Analyses and preventive actions to aim for effectiveness
- To promote a positive Safety Culture and to ensure that Safety and Quality Policy is communicated/promoted and implemented within the Organization
- To ensure that all elements of the SMS are properly implemented, maintained and continuously improved by fulfilling all SMS related duties and responsibilities as defined in SMS Manual
- Support lean continuous improvement with aiming for failure costs reduction, efficient and effective processes and procedures
- Support the Business Unit in the close loop process for quality related findings to develop effective preventive action plans for safety & quality hazards and escapes
- Drive internal occurrence reporting, organize and facilitate root cause analysis (RCA)
- Continuous development of SMS and safety culture within Engine Services
- Define safety campaigns and initiatives in alignment with corporate OSHE
- Support the maintenance and update of business process documentation
- Further development of a new CoPQ KPI Measurement System (Turnbacks, etc.)

**Profile**:

- Education: FH in technical field or equal education
- Hands-on mentality and positive attitude
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in a similar role, preferable within aviation industry
- In-depth knowledge of airworthiness regulations and safety requirements
- Lean Sigma knowledge (e.g. Green Belt)
- Good German and English knowledge (C1)
