- In the role as Project Manager Process Engineering you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement of our automated and semi-automated production processes. This position is integral to our mission of providing cutting-edge hearing solutions to individuals around the world.- As Project Manager, you will support our global production by controlling and enhancing the manufacturing processes of vital technologies. If you have a background in engineering, project management, and a passion for enhancing manufacturing operations, we invite you to explore this exceptional opportunity with us.**Your tasks**
- Responsible for production support of Sonova operating centers by controlling and maintaining the manufacturing processes of automated and semi-automated processes such as laser processes, surface-mount technology processes, underfill and jet dispensing, curing, lacquering and coating processes
- Responsible for managing change projects aiming at the optimization of manufacturing quality, cost, delivery and yield in the production of hearing aids and accessories through continuous improvement
- Performs technical investigation and documentation including training of operators and production tech teams upon adjusted or improved processes
- Responsible for resolving equipment and product nonconformance issues
- Collaboration in the integration of new processes and products into production, as well as in the transfer of processes and products to other production sites
**Your profile**
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, automation or material science
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role with extensive knowhow and technical competences in the field of electronics or medical device industries
- Project management education
- Training in CI (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good cooperation across different interfaces such as Manufacturing Engineering worldwide, R&D, suppliers, and production
- Proficient in MS Office and SAP
- Fluent in German and English
