We are seeking an experienced **Swiss Equity Execution** **Trader **to join a major financial institution in Switzerland. Reporting to the Trading Desk, this role is pivotal in executing Swiss Equity order flows for both internal and external clients with a focus on achieving superior execution quality and client satisfaction. The trader will also handle Market Making mandates on instruments listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange, while actively contributing to the automation and efficiency of our trading processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Execute Swiss Equity Order flow** for internal and external clients, ensuring superior execution quality and providing timely updates and trading advice.
- **Manage Market Making Mandates** for instruments listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange to enhance market liquidity.
- **Improve automation** of order flow and trading processes, collaborating closely with IT on trading-related projects.
- **Proactively cooperate** with internal teams and external stakeholders to optimize trading outcomes and client service.
- **Adhere to all relevant Rules & Regulations**, internal guidelines, and directives, staying updated with regulatory developments in the trading area.
- **Perform various administrative tasks** to support trading operations and compliance requirements.

**Profile Requirements**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in finance/banking or comparable higher financial education.
- **Experience**: Minimum 3 years of practical experience in trading Swiss Equities, with a proven track record in execution and market making.
- **Licenses/Certifications**: SIX Trader License is required. Very good knowledge of the Swiss Equity market is essential.
- **Technical Skills**: Profound IT affinity with experience in Order Management Systems (OMS) and trading platforms.
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize trading strategies and resolve complex issues.
- **Work Ethic**: High level of integrity, accountability, and strong work ethics, capable of working under pressure and prioritizing tasks effectively.
- **Communication Skills**: Fluency in German and English is required. Very good command of French is a plus for effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
