Axalta operates its business in two operating segments: Performance Coatings and Transportation Coatings, serving four end markets, including: Refinish, Industrial, Light Vehicle and Commercial Vehicle, across the following four regions: North America, EMEA, Latin America and Asia-Pacific.

**Responsibilities**:
The Global Communications Senior Manager will develop and align the internal and external communications strategy for the region with the overall Global Communications Strategy to support employee engagement and drive business growth.

- Coordinate and localize global storytelling campaigns around annual story themes, including sustainability, innovation, technology, Axalta’s culture and our people.
- Develop and deliver regional strategy in alignment with the overall global communications strategy and business priorities to drive effective and engaging internal and external communications.
- Drive delivery of company business focus in region through strategic communications, coordination of news flow, development, and dissemination of compelling stories (internally and externally), stakeholder engagement, and effective use of digital channels.
- Advise regional leadership on effective communications with employees and other critical stakeholders internally and externally, including drafting announcement, video scripts, speech writing, media training, and thought leadership content development.
- Engage and build relations with key media outlets (top tier through to trade media across mainstream and digital) and social media channels. This work will be accomplished successfully through strong collaboration with Corporate Communication and Marketing colleagues as well as other business stakeholders.
- Create informative and interesting press releases, press kits, newsletters, and related materials.
- Serve as the Communication Lead on Crisis and/or Issue Management teams developing communication strategies, stakeholder analysis, and deliverables necessary to effectively manage risks and Axalta’s reputation. Ensure strict compliance with the company’s crisis management protocol and guidelines to manage, respond to and resolve issues.
- Leverage global communication common tools, templates, and processes to ensure integrated communications across the organization.
- Independently handle complex issues with mínimal supervision.
- Collaborate with the Global Communications team to align on meaning metrics to measure communications & brand performance as part of the global strategy. Provide an engaging and actionable reporting mechanism to ensure internal stakeholders are aware of the outcomes that our communications efforts are driving.

Qualifications:
**Professional Experience and Qualifications**
- Bachelors’ degree in Marketing or Communication or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
- 10+ years' work experience in corporate communications or marketing communications within the manufacturing industry preferrable with both agency and corporate experience.
- Experience in crisis communication is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English including mastery of various writing formats with expertise in editing.
- Extensive experience in developing and managing integrated communications campaigns and activities involving traditional media and digital channels. Capable to handle relationships with internal and external partners and media contacts.
- High energy, forward-thinking, collaborative with demonstrated ability to leverage cross functional teams to achieve company goals.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
