**Your responsibilities**: This is an exciting opportunity to join the busy Content and Communications team working to promote Art Basel's premier global shows and other flagship initiatives. Reporting to the Global Head of Content and Communications, you will be responsible for ideating and implementing impactful communications campaigns, creating engaging content and managing relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders:

- Develop and implement the communication strategy for Art Basel's shows as well as other initiatives, in line with Art Basel's mission and strategic objectives
- Devise and deliver impactful PR campaigns for our four shows in close collaboration with Art Basel's external PR consultants
- Create high-quality, engaging content to promote our shows and initiatives to a wide variety of audiences
- Lead communication efforts around Art Basel's sustainability journey and develop high-quality content including reports, press dossiers and website copy
- Conceptualize and organize media engagement events including press conferences, journalist briefings and press trips
- Build and maintain international network of journalists and manage relationships with local and national journalists specifically
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including agencies, partners and peers
- Manage the communications budget for the Basel and Miami Beach shows, including tracking and processing invoices and liaising with suppliers
- Proactively monitor the press for issues of reputational risk, develop statements, advice notes and Q&As as required by the Global Head of Content and Communications
- Work effectively with the broader Content & Communications team and other departments to ensure campaign alignment across social media, editorial production, and marketing
- Support in the development and implementation of best practice guidelines around internal communications, support Leadership Team by preparing briefing documents and scripts as needed
- Handle incoming communications requests

**Your profile**:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in public relations, journalism, communications, marketing or related role with demonstrated experience in developing and executing communications campaigns, content creation, planning and executing events, and managing relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to write high-quality, engaging copy and proof-read with exceptional attention to detail
- Fluency in English and German required, fluency in French desirable
- The ability to develop effective strategies and concepts based on research, analysis and audience insight
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet measurable targets and deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to influence, advise and negotiate at all levels within the organization and with external agencies
- Experience of working in fast-paced environments and adapting to organizational change
- Excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work on own initiative
- Good eye for design and presentation
- Sound financial skills with the ability to manage budgets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; knowledge of Salesforce, project management and CRM softwares desirable
