- Perform all activities related to transaction monitoring and anti-money laundering compliance (name screening), sanctions and embargoes (payment filtering), and correspondent bank inquiries related to AML and sanctions. Act a team leader on specific compliance monitoring activities.- Responsibilities- Monitoring high-risk transactions in compliance with anti-money laundering and terrorist financing regulations (Swiss AMLA, OBA-FINMA, CDB20).
- Handling daily alerts involving sanctions and embargoes, including payment filtering (Firco Continuity) and correspondent bank inquiries related to sanctions.
- Performing various controls related to AML activities including name screening and correspondent bank requests. Acting as an advisor to the Front Office.
- Interacting frequently with the Front Office and various internal stakeholders, as well as presenting to AML Committees.
- Taking charge of various _ad hoc_ projects relating to the team’s activities in collaboration with the management of the Client Monitoring team.
- Guiding and providing support to junior staff in their work and providing ongoing training.
- Carrying out and following up on all necessary clarification processes.

**Your profile**:

- Between five and eight years’ experience in a similar compliance position in a private bank in Switzerland.
- A master’s degree or relevant experience in private banking; Certificate in Compliance Management an asset.
- Strong interest in regulatory issues and the AML field. Very good knowledge of the Swiss AMLA, the OBA-FINMA and the Swiss Banks' Code of Conduct, as well as related jurisprudence.
- Excellent command of French and English; other languages would be a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible and conscientious with broad knowledge; able to communicate precisely and distil important information.
- Able to show discretion and handle confidential issues in an appropriate manner.
- Team player and stress resistant.
- Able to handle the material and formal aspects relating to KYC/KYT reviews.
- Must be resident in Switzerland.
