Indirect Tax Manager

For our client, one of top companies in its respective industry, we are looking for an Indirect Tax Manager, who would be in charge of all global VAT matters, in addition to being involved in Transfer Pricing and providing support on Corporate Tax topics. This is a great opportunity to be part of an international and dynamic team with flat hierarchy.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure that the Group transfer pricing policy is updated annually and that the relative intercompany agreements are kept up to date and aligned with such policy
- Prepare and/or supervise preparation of VAT returns for European entities in line with local requirements across multiple jurisdictions
- Monitor and ensure that all Group tax filings are processed accurately and on time
- Liaise with tax consultants and optimize the use of such consultants across multiple jurisdictions
- Conduct training to ensure that finance personnel have a good working knowledge of VAT requirements
- Assist in tax accounting, preparing reconciliations for audited financial statements, accounting for deferred tax and liaising with financial auditors as needed
- Keep updated with relevant tax changes and advise strategies accordingly
- Developing tax planning strategies with goal of reducing tax burden whilst ensuring full compliance across all jurisdictions where the Group operates from
- Manage and coordinate tax audits
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of tax codes in the Group’s ERP
- Any other related tasks

**Requirements**:

- 8+ years of Indirect Tax experience, preferably in combination with a background in Big 4 companies
- Fluency in English is a must. At least an intermediate level of German is needed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and be result-driven
- Highly motivated, flexible and with a positive and ‘can do’ attitude
