**Associate Director Global Scientific Affairs - SEL-212 and Specialty Care**:
**Role & Function**
The Associate Director Global Scientific Affairs SEL-212 & Specialty Care, will be responsible for all aspects of scientific communications for SEL-212 & Specialty Care assets, including strategy, planning and execution of congress abstracts, presentations, publications, and activities, as well as medical education and training. The Associate Director will liaise with Medical Affairs colleagues and other cross-functional matrix/regional partners to lead and contribute to the preparation, development, and execution of impactful medical communications that enhance the value of Sobi’s innovations for patients, physicians, and external partners.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and lead the scientific communications strategy for SEL-212 & Specialty Care assets- Contribute to the global publication plan and execution (manuscripts, abstracts, presentations) in partnership with the Immunology Publications Lead, ensuring alignment with the Global Medical & Scientific Affairs and brand strategies- Work with the cross-functional teams and external agencies to define appropriate medical communication solutions to support product/disease area strategy implementation across geographies- Support, develop and execute key training needs of the affiliates- Lead the development efforts for external medical education and training- Contribute to innovative digital/multichannel approaches for the dissemination of medical materials- Stay abreast of internal and external developments relevant to the assigned assets**Qualifications**
- Advanced degree (PhD) and/or certification in scientific medical field (i.e., PharmD)- 5+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry (e.g., Medical Affairs/Scientific Communications) or in a medical communications agency- Experience in Immunology is preferred**Personal attributes**:
- Collaborative team player with interpersonal skills, able to work effectively in a team setting and interact respectfully with people of different cultural, seniority and functional backgrounds - Ability to engender strong interpersonal professional relationships within the cross-functional matrix - Sense of accountability and ownership - Role model with the highest scientific and ethical standards, working in accordance with applicable rules and regulations - Outstanding communication skills, both written and oral - Strong scientific background with ability to analyse, interpret, and present data to diverse target audiences - Strategic thinking - Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required - Fluency in English - Other European languages a bonus - Knowledge of Pubstrat an advantage In addition, you must demonstrate behaviors in line with Sobi's core values: Care, Ambition, Urgency, Ownership and Partnership.
