Now onto the role.
Are you an established People & Culture Leader with proven success in building a People strategy in a scale-up company? We have ambitious growth plans which is why we have recently created this position to help take Locatee and our People Strategy to the next level.
In our eyes, we would love to meet an individual who is obsessed with providing an exceptional employee experience. You won’t be working from scratch. We have a lot of people practices in place but we are continuously looking to improve. You will play a core role in defining employee development, driving culture and performance whilst acting as a strategic people and culture partner with our Senior Managers.
Tasks
As part of the Leadership Team, your role will include but is not limited to the following points:
- Deep emphasis on culture and ability to maintain culture throughout the company’s growth (we hope to be 100 of us by the end of next year)
- Develop our People strategy and our plans for a variety of People matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety etc.
- Evaluate alternative working policies such as remote teams
- Working with, and through the Leadership Team, lead the development of our culture across the organisation to enable us to achieve the aims of our Company Plan.
- Monitor and report on salary metrics across the business, including Gender Pay Gap and parity between job roles/titles
- Nurture a culture and environment built for learning and growth
- Lead the strategic direction of every aspect of our HR efforts.
- Help the company grow in Switzerland, US & APAC and align with one global culture.
- Effectively structure benefits programs and shape our talent development to attract and retain top talent.
- Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards.
- Lead, develop and guide our HR team (currently consisting of three people).
- As a leader, you inspire the people and act as a coach. You ensure we continue to be a fast-paced, pragmatic learning environment where employees are engaged and grow.
**Requirements**:
- Prior experience working in a growth or scaleup startup.
- Entrepreneurial thinker with a proactive and pragmatic mentality.
- Hands-on and problem solving attitude.
- Full understanding of the way a startup operates to meet its objectives.
- In-depth knowledge about local and international Human Resource Processes, employment legislation, and legal regulations.
- Strong experience in People development.
- Excellent knowledge of all aspects of HR management.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Team player.
- Fluent in English, German is a bonus
- Valid Swiss work permit or EU passport.
