Intern Treasury and Accounting

About the team you are joining

Reporting to the Manager, ISS Banking, you will be part of a multicultural finance team who are focused on the accuracy and integrity of our financial statements and is committed in providing high level customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. In addition, we value team-work and a good communication between the team members.

What your day would be like

You will be responsible in completing the tasks as assigned by the Manager, Accounts Payable such as:

- Administrative work including checking, printing, obtaining signatures and legalizations, scanning, and shipping of various Treasury & Banking related documents;
- Maintenance of several databases including the IATA Bank Accounts database on SharePoint, as well as preparing the Banks’ credit rating scorecard;
- Assisting with projects as requested by the Treasury / Banking and Accounts Payable Managers;
- Be the back-up for the CFO’s Executive Assistant;
- Be the back-up to run the Mark to Market Treasury report on a monthly basis;
- Co-ordinating the Weekly Treasury and Banking meetings;
- Assist in debt collection efforts so that accounts receivables are collected within set time lines.

We would love to hear from you if
- You are currently studying, or you are in the process of obtaining a University Degree or if you recently (within 1 year) graduated from a University with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field;
- You have good verbal and written communication skills in English;
- You have proven teamwork and initiative skills; ability to deal with people from different levels and cultures within the organization;
- You have ability to prioritize work so all target dates are achieved and to co-ordinate and control multiple tasks simultaneously.
