Evinova is a health-tech business within the AstraZeneca Group. - At Evinova, we see the huge potential for digital solutions to make the whole healthcare sector more effective and to dramatically improve patient experience and outcomes. - We have already made strategic investments in digital health to improve patient experience and accelerate getting new medicines to patients. - Digital transformation is happening at pace within the healthcare industry. However, we experienced first-hand that there were gaps in terms of the solutions currently available, which were not fully meeting the needs of patients, clinical trial sites, or sponsors. - We recognised that the sector needs mature, established solutions that seamlessly integrate different elements into long-lasting solutions. So, we decided to do something about it. - We originally invested in crafting a portfolio of novel digital solutions to accelerate our drug portfolio and improve our patient and site experience and outcomes, with demonstrated benefits (See: Nature Medicine). - We are using scientific leadership with the digital expertise and technologies we have developed to offer a range of digital health solutions to the industry. - Evinova are a completely independent clinical trial health-tech business with the long-term backing of AstraZeneca. - We are focusing on the huge potential for digital health to transform our collective effectiveness and fundamentally improve how new treatments are developed and how people are diagnosed and treated. **Major Duties and Responsibilities** - Overall accountability to develop meaningful relationships with key customers which deliver commercial sales for Evinova. Understanding customer difficulties, identifying areas of opportunity and able to demonstrate strategic problem solving. - A global remit in customer strategy development, including the business development process from awareness, discovery, consideration, go through procurement processes for system validation, and contract. Support the commercial strategy for each customer with a view to exceeding targets and deliver success. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for market expansion, client acquisition, and partnerships. This involves activities to identify new leads, ensuring marketing activities are in place, driving opportunities to impact pipeline expansion and velocity of opportunities to drive sales. - Reporting into Sales Leadership the Sales Director shall be responsible for delivering to both a quarterly and annual sales target. To ensure success they shall be accountable for the development and management of an adequate, balanced sales pipeline. - Solving issue and handling risks as it relates to customers, being a partner both internally and externally and supporting excellence in behaviors and partnership. **Minimum Qualifications** - Bachelor’s degree - Minimum 10+ years relevant experience - Well-known in the industry with extensive experience in software sales and delivery of commercial value - Significant experience in commercial sales in this sector, software for pharma. - Exceptional network and sales experience externally and well recognised and reputation. - Extensive experience bringing innovation to solve complex and multi-dimensional issues from an operational, technical, financial, and human perspective. - Proven ability to influence at the most senior level in external organisations to get to sales. - Proven experience driving global change in complex organisations.
