**Job Description**:
This role will support the Group Chief of Strategy to create and steer the strategy, evaluate opportunities, and shape development plans, manage projects in business development.

**Essential responsibilities**
- Provide a clear view on renewables and conventional energy markets trends based on economic, regulatory, technology and supply chain information to enable informed strategy and business decisions
- Lead and facilitate multiple large strategic processes in cooperation with MET Group business units (with focus on Flexibility and Green Assets)
- Pro-actively identify need for strategic projects, propose/design them, gather project teams and support shaping strategic agenda together with the Group Chief of Strategy
- Monitor competitor developments, analyze competitive benchmarks, technologies, and market developments for all business areas and assess their long-term impact
- Evaluate strategic consistency of MET Group Asset Development business and project opportunities
- Manage business development projects

**Qualifications**:
**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in finance or business studies, MBA is appreciated
- 3-4 years’ work experience in energy assets - with particular focus on renewable assets - development across Western Europe
- M&A, investment banking experience
- Ability to summarize complex topics and extract decision options
- Excellent project and stakeholder management skills
- Creative and open-minded individual with an ability to link theoretical scenarios with actual feasibility for the company
- Strong personal credibility and high level of social competence
- Fluent English, German is highly appreciated
