As Sales Manager of our Electrification and Grinding Team, you will drive the sales performance of our Process Industries division, based in Baden-Dättwil, Switzerland. You will specify and implement effective sales and business-development initiatives and you will act in line with our global strategies. You will lead and coach the local sales team to meet ambitious targets and exceed customer expectations. This position is reporting to the Head of Sales.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Identify new business opportunities and creating clear strategies to convert them into profitable sold projects.
- Establish sales goals and ensure sales achievements through regular oversight and KPIs definition, as well as the implementation of improvement plans.
- Coordinate the information exchange around sales activities and provide accurate forecasts and market intelligence insights to the rest of the organization.
- Establish with your team strong customer relationships and maintain a positive customer experience throughout the sales process, including post-sales evaluation.
- Conduct contract risk assessments and work closely with relevant parties to mitigate risks
- Build a robust sales organization through best practices, training and cross-collaboration
**Your background**:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in direct sales and sales management, working as sales team leader within complex electrical and automation systems in the mining or similar industry
- Knowledge of a CRM tool such as SalesForce is an advantage
- Experience of business development, account management and cross-selling
- A clear grasp of contract negotiations, risk management, and commercial and legal terms
- Exceptional communication and negotiating skills, a customer-focused mindset and a professional, “can-do” attitude
- An electrical or automation engineering related degree is required
- Fluency in English, other European languages are of advantage
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%
