- Are you a confident relationship builder and trusted advisor to senior decision makers? Do you have extensive experience in analyzing regulatory developments and providing strategic advice? Do you enjoy leading highly motivated professionals to success?
- In your role as Head Governmental Affairs Switzerland, you'll:
- lead a team of advisors providing comprehensive analysis on key Swiss regulatory and political issues of relevance to UBS
- develop the firm’s position across a broad spectrum of political and regulatory issues and financial market topics
- coordinate our advocacy work with key policymakers, industry associations, and other external bodies
- represent UBS in external expert groups and industry associations
- advise our key decision makers on regulatory policy issues and prepare appropriate supporting material

**Your team**
- You will be heading the Swiss team in UBS’s global Governmental Affairs area, where you will play a key part in carrying out its mandate regarding policy proposals in Switzerland and beyond. Governmental Affairs ensures comprehensive coverage of the activities of governments, regulators and supranational organizations that materially affect us. The team works closely with our top management on emerging political and regulatory developments and manages the interactions with policymakers and industry associations around the globe.

**Your expertise**
- excellent knowledge of the regulatory environment for banks and financial markets in Switzerland
- strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with a strategic mindset
- prior experience in engaging in the financial services regulatory policy process or in strategy consulting combined with a network among key Swiss decision makers
- proven people management skills and a track record of leading for success
- outstanding communication skills (in German, English, and French), ability to interact effectively with a wide range of internal and external clients, including senior executives
- proactive, self-driven and flexible personality with ability to effectively adapt to different situations and challenges
