**Your team**

In this role you will work within the Chief Information Security Office in close collaboration with our Security Operations team and the IT organisation internally as well as to clients to sustainably design, build and maintain security capabilities. You will be specifically responsible as product owner for core capabilities like Posture Management (e.g. Vulnerability Management, Credentials Security, Data Leakage Prevention) or Container Security and related tools, technical controls, processes and procedures. You are part of a global organization with local footprint and will ensure the implementation of a holistic end-2-end security approach across the organization, also taking on ownership of operational security matters in your remit.

**Your mission**
- Work with the stakeholders across Avaloq with the focus on the Avaloq entities based in Switzerland to ensure an efficient and effective security service
- Perform technical security assessments and provide security advisory services e.g. in the domains of Vulnerability Management, prioritization & remediation of vulnerabilities, credential security and Data Leakage Prevention
- Manage information security relevant aspects for regulatory relevant audits or certifications, e.g. ISO 27001
- Foster a security-aware culture and support the resolution of security incidents together with the operational teams
- Support the Cyber Defence Center in terms of Threat Hunting & Security Incident Response and Remediation (incl. on-call duty)

**Qualifications**:
**What you need**
- Masters Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- Experience in managing operational security capabilities end-2-end in the IT or Financial services industry
- Experience in containerized technologies and XDR concepts
- Expertise with the following products: Tenable suite, Brinqa, Jira, McAfee DLP, Microsoft Information Protection, Palo Alto product family, Bitsight
- Hands-on experience in the design, build-out and run of vulnerability scanning & prioritization solutions
- Understanding of Information Security Management Frameworks like NIST Cyber Security Framework or ISO 27001
- At least 5 years of experience in senior security roles (e.g. security engineer, security manager, security operations center roles)

**You will get extra points for the following**
- Experience in SIEM / Splunk
- Knowledge in Openshift
- Experience with Swiss financial regulatory requirements (FINMA)
