**WHAT YOU WILL DO**

The Accounting Manager for Utopia Music is a unique position and you will be able to help further shape the finance function to become a truly digitized, agile and forward-thinking organization. In this role you will manage the monthly financial reporting of our subsidiaries, with a focus on our Swiss headquarters. Other responsibilities are in taxes, internal controls, managing external accounting firms and accounts payable.

Part of our Group Finance Team, leading a team of 3-4 people and reporting to the VP Finance. You need to be innovative and recognize that the way we worked yesterday will not be the way we work tomorrow, using analytics in your decision making and seek to digitize the function where possible.
- Lead in all accounting related tasks including general ledger accounting, financial monthly close, and financial audits in compliance
- Responsibility responsible for driving standardization and controls for all finance and accounting matters
- Implementation of and compliance with our Internal Control System (ICS) and accounting policies
- Review and control revenue recognition and capitalization of development costs
- Responsibilities over a variety of aspects of the company accounts including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets. This includes all Group entities
- Prepare, control and report of results of operations for executive management and the BoD
- Maintain, and execute accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed and reported
- Prepare and settle VAT and taxes in a timely manner
- Identify insights to inform optimal business decisions and financial planning

**WHAT EXCITES US**

**(Essential)**
- Master Degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field
- Knowledge of local Swiss standards (SCO/FER) and IFRS
- Five years PQE with seven years of relevant working experience in Accounting, leading teams
- Experience working with ERP and financial planning systems
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex financials into easily digestible information
- Solutions orientated and team focussed
- Global experience with clear understanding of Swiss financial regulations
- Result-oriented and able to prioritize, meet deadlines and see projects through to completion
- Fluent in English and German

**(Desirable)**
- Located in the Zurich / Zug area in Switzerland
- Oracle NetSuite experience
- Tech / data / start-up experience
- International mindset
- Advanced Excel and Google Suite skills
