**Summary**:
Novartis Pharma Schweiz is responsible for marketing innovative medicines in the international company's important home market. To complement our communications team at the Rotkreuz site, we are looking for a Communications and Patient Advocacy Manager

In this role, you will lead communication around our therapies and disease areas and manage patient advocacy. This exciting combination allows you to blend your communication expertise with the opportunity to strengthen the voice of patients in the Swiss healthcare system.

**About the Role**:
**Key**responsibilities**:

- You develop communication strategies for our therapeutic areas, define specific measures and implement them for the various internal and external stakeholder groups
- From media releases to social media assets - from texts to images and film: you convey our core messages with convincing content in various communication channels
- You grasp complex and scientific content easily and can present it in understandable way
- You own our Patient Advocacy activities, build a network with patient organizations and support your colleagues with your expertise in patient communication
- You develop strategic measures that enable us to include the patient perspective in our work

**Essential Requirements**:

- University degree
- Several years of experience in a communications function
- The main language at Novartis Pharma Schweiz is German, but as we communicate a lot in English, excellent written and spoken English skills are essential for this position. Knowledge of French is an advantage
- We are looking for a strong team player who enjoys working with various internal and external stakeholder groups
- You are well organized, work independently and enjoy driving multiple projects in parallel

**Nice to have**:

- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage
- Experience in Patient Advocacy is an advantage, but not a requirement
