**About the role**

We are looking to enhance our team in Banking Operations with a smart mind that tackles challenges with a hands-on attitude and improvement-oriented mindset.

Banking Operations is primarily responsible for the setup and maintenance of static data relating to clients and instruments (incl. cryptos and tokenized assets), the processing of transactions (namely payments, post-trade settlement and clearing) as well as reconciliation and selected regulatory reporting’s. Banking Operations thus contributes to ensuring an optimum customer service, at optimum cost/benefit and risk/benefit relations, by correctly entering relevant data and information into the systems, timely and accurately processing the different types of transactions, ensuring that transaction and position entries are correct, as well as by issuing reports within its scope of responsibility to the relevant stakeholders.

We look for someone with broad interests and versatile skills. In this position, you report directly to the Head Payments and Settlement, who reports to the Head Banking Operations.
- Ensure smooth client settlement of fiat (e.g. options), and crypto trades
- Reconcile daily balances and positions, and periodic client staking rewards
- Support and manage efficiently daily operations for both fiat and digital assets transactions (Staking, payments & payments investigations, security transfers, Subscription & Redemption of funds etc.)
- Opening and maintaining financial products in the core banking system
- Support the implementation and operational handling of new products and services
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and risk management of our Financial Services Operations
- Identify tasks that can be automated or improved via Macro, excel, etc
- Support ad hoc administrative tasks whenever required.

**What we expect**
- A strong analytical mindset. You need to be able to collect and analyze information and to formulate and solve problems in a structured way.
- A confident appearance in meetings. Be it for an internal meeting, we expect that you can share your views in a professional manner.
- Know your tools. As we work in a business environment, it’s good to visualize things. Hence, you should be capable to create PowerPoint slides by yourself and handle Excel sheets.
- Be willing to learn fast. We do not expect you to have ten years of experience in a field that exists for five. However, we expect you to quickly deep dive into a topic and build expertise by learning from others or by yourself.
- A strong can-do attitude. As we are a startup, your scope of action will be broad. Hence, we expect that you are willing (and ideally enjoying) to tackle all the potential challenges ahead. For some, you will know the solution, for others, you need to find it. However, as we work as a team, there is no mountain or challenge too big to not be summitted.
- Be an open-minded team player. You will work in a position where many endpoints come together. It is vital that you can efficiently collaborate with other teams to further push our goals as a company.
- Commitment. Readiness to dedicate yourself fully to the role and contribute effectively throughout the 6-month period.
