Zug, Switzerland-based early-stage Venture Capital firm CV VC is looking for a motivated and dedicated Venture Capital Investment Associate to join its investment team (Zug/Hybrid/Remote). CV VC is an early-stage Venture Capital investor & Accelerator with a focus on Web3 / Blockchain Technology / Crypto. Work in a truly dynamic and innovative environment, connect to startups, other VCs, investors, ecosystem partners and have hands-on exposure to the execution of investment projects. **\*\*Start of the position**: flexible (asap, or over coming weeks / months) **Location**: Zug, Switzerland, Hybrid, or Remote (ideally Europe)\*\* - with strong preference for international CV Labs Locations (i.e. Berlin, Lisbon) or Financial Hubs (i.e. London) Tasks **Venture Capital - Associate VC tasks include the following**: - Evaluation of new investment opportunities in Web3 / Blockchain Technology / Crypto (incl. business model analysis, competitor research, and due diligence) - Review documentation and Data Rooms of potential targets and support or lead the process of wrinting investment memos for the investment committee - Sourcing & selection of new investment opportunities in the Web3 / Blockchian Technology / Crypto space (both for our Acclerator as well as for direct investments) - Review of business models and financial models of the targets - Execute / support with reporting as well as fund admin work - Help to onboard new investors (sourcing to closing) for the VC funds - Support new & follow-on investment deals from sourcing to closing - Work with portfolio companies on portfolio management related matters (e.g. support with business plan, help with intros to potential partners & investors, etc.) - Work & support on investor marketing, reporting, and fundraising efforts (incl. fundraising documentation) - Update the Data Rooms for the venture capital funds - Contribute to publications/online content and industry events as well as investor updates - Represent the company at networking events in the VC / Web3 / Crypto / Blockchain Technology / Alternative Investment industry **Requirements**: - Relevant university degree & education - Initial professional experience in early-stage Venture Capital of roughly 1-3 years (and/or at least solid knowledge thereof, or, adjacent / relevant areas and experience from the statup space) - Familiar with (early-stage) Venture Capital / Venture Capital deals and the startup environment as well as with other investors (GP & LPs) investing in the space - Strong interest in technology and startups - Ideally also have a fascination, knowledge and/or experience in the Web3 / Blockchain Technology / Crypto space - Highly motivated team player yet able to work independent / take own initiative - International mindset and outstanding interpersonal skills - Advanced MS Office skills (esp. Excel and PowerPoint) / Google Suite - Basic knowledge of VC funds (mechanics and economics) - Fluent in English (professional level) and preferably also German About CV VC CV VC is an early-stage Venture Capital investor & Accelerator with a focus on focus on Web3 / Blockchain Technology / Crypto.
