Our field, global working capital finance, represents a $5.5 trillion total addressable market that is expected to grow an additional 50% by 2026, driven by increased supply chain complexity, digitisation of the invoicing process and growing demand for longer payment terms. Our aim is to become the global leader in the working capital finance space.

**Background**:
Peridot was formed through Blackstone’s acquisition of Swiss-based Global Supply Chain Finance (GSCF) and a portion of IBM Global Finance (IGF), both of which specialise in complex working capital finance programmes in the technology manufacturing space.

Global Supply Chain Finance Ltd. is the world’s leading financial servicing provider in the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) sector with 30 years of experience in structuring, implementing and servicing receivables and payables-based programmes in over 100 countries. GSCF offers innovative SCF solutions to leading banks, non-bank investors, large suppliers, and their buyers through its in-house developed platform.

Going forward, Peridot will leverage GSCF’s technology platform as the foundation for expansion. Once we have adapted, optimised and enhanced this platform, we will meaningfully scale the business within the core technology manufacturing sector and expand into other adjacent industries (e.g. working capital programmes for companies outside the technology sector).

Given that major global trends - namely increasing complexity of supply chains and longer payment terms in industries that have seen consolidation - are driving growth in the working capital finance space, we see significant opportunity for growth and product expansion, including: 1) moving into embedded finance (e.g. integrating directly into other B2B data and payments platforms), 2) expanding into other working capital offerings and 3) building a comprehensive funder marketplace.**The Role**:
**How You Will Make an Impact**:

- Draft, negotiate, and advise on a range of commercial trade financing agreements, loan documents, guarantees, and related financing documents
- Assist with M&A, investments, and other strategic transactions in all stages, including due diligence, drafting, and negotiating term sheets and transaction documentation, closing support and post-closing integration
- Review and negotiate various legal contracts and other documents, including vendor contracts and NDAs
- Work closely to support senior legal team on a wide range of in-house legal matters
- Coordinate with internal business and operations including credit, tax, treasury, operations, etc. in connection with legal reviews
- Support legal entity administration in over 30 countries and provide assistance with organizational and compliance filing materials
- Research and provide guidance on regulatory requirements applicable to Peridot’s business globally
- Correspond with local counsel regarding documentation and team questions, and coordinate review by such counsel

**What You Bring to the Team**:

- Legal qualifications relevant to the jurisdiction of hire
- Highly self-motivated professional comfortable working remotely, with colleagues located globally
- 3-5+ years of corporate legal experience at a major law firm with a focus on multi-jurisdictional supply chain finance transactions, factoring, loan and security agreements, and related arrangements
- Familiarity with M&A, venture capital or investment transactions; knowledge of securitizations, accounts receivable financing transactions, and related regulatory regimes is a plus
- Experience in the financial services industry is preferred
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Comfort working on complex, fast-paced projects
- Skilled negotiator and drafter
