**Presentation of the Centre**:
The Geneva Center for International Dispute Settlement (CIDS) is a leading center of excellence based in Geneva, dedicated to the study, teaching, and practice of international dispute resolution. Established as a joint initiative of the University of Geneva and the Geneva Graduate Institute, CIDS plays a pivotal role in advancing innovative solutions and promoting best practices in arbitration and mediation. It brings together renowned experts, practitioners, and scholars, offering a unique platform to address legal and policy challenges in a globalized world.

**The role**:
Under the supervision of CIDS Director_, _your main mission is to consolidate the existing programme and expand activities of MIDS in new fields. The Executive Director is also responsible for monitoring the day-to-day management of the programme, outreach activities and team management. You represent MIDS in external events and conferences and manage relations with stakeholders and promote MIDS programme to future students. You may also teach on the MIDS programme.

**Key responsibilities**:

- **STRATEGIC OUTREACH**
- Develop and execute an outreach and recruitment strategy.
- Implement promotional strategies to enhance programme visibility.
- Manage public relations to strengthen the programme's image.
- Organize and participate in events to promote the programme.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in dispute resolution.
- Strengthen ties with arbitral institutions and law firms.
- Mobilize the network to increase visibility and explore new opportunities.
- Contribute to the creation of promotional materials.
- Engage students and alumni to support programme visibility.
- Promote the MIDS programme to prospective students.
- **ACADEMIC AND PROGRAMME DEVELOPMENT**
- Contribute to the creation and updating of study regulations and academic content.
- Oversee academic quality and suggest improvements to the programme.
- Coordinate and update content and teaching methodologies (in-person, online, hybrid).
- Identify and invite speakers; ensure alignment between sessions and lecturers.
- Monitor exams, diplomas, and graduation ceremonies.
- Liaise with law firms and arbitral institutions to secure student placements and expand opportunities.
- **PROGRAMME OPERATION AND RECRUITMENT MANAGER**
- Prepare and manage the programme budget, ensuring profitability and expense control.
- Prepare financial reports and ensure smooth programme administration.
- Coordinate with Graduate Institute administration (HR, IT, accounting, etc.).
- Plan, monitor, and oversee team activities, ensuring motivation and engagement.
- Provide teaching and academic support, including class time and personalized advice.

**To be successful in this role, you should have**:

- Master or PhD in law
- At least 3-5 years practical experience in international dispute resolution
- Teaching experience desirable
- Established presence in the international dispute resolution community
- Excellent networking and interpersonal skills
- Strong professional presentation abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong work ethic and leadership qualities
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail
