- We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of Instrument and/or Reference Data (including Pricing, regulatory topics like MiFID II ) to:
- serve as point of contact and Subject Matter Expert for reference data-related issues.
- provide Business & IT support for reference data processes and to reference data users and consumers
- review, maintain and ensure adherence to relevant governance, data quality and data confidentiality policies and standards
- pro-actively support ad hoc regional and global reference data projects as needed
- team and support services in the broader instrument data area to cover core Instrument data services (MiFID II, Pricing activities )
- oversee and optimize vendor partnerships, ensuring seamless collaboration between offshore and onshore data vendors while actively monitoring performance, resolving issues and nurturing relationships with stakeholders
- drive continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring efficient workflows, enhanced data quality, adherence to contractual obligations, proactive monitoring of metrics and a superior client experience while managing data quality issues and remediation
- provide comprehensive support across audits, service execution, query management, regulatory escalations and knowledge sharing to ensure smooth operations, efficient processes and effective resolution of issues and escalations

**Your team**
- Reference Data Services is providing critical services for different business divisions across the globe and enables UBS teams to provide correct reporting to relevant regulators.
- You’ll be working within Global Reference Data Services Organization - Instrument Data Management Team. This team is primarily responsible for Service Execution team of Instrument data across business divisions.

**Your expertise**
- at least 2-6 years of experience in financial service industry and specifically in Instrument data management process gained by hands on experience. Either in an investment bank/asset management firm /or a related service provider
- bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Math’s fields would be considered with very strong relevant experience
- excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and able to communicate and understand German, additional languages (French, Italian, etc.) will be considered a plus
- strong ability to manage day to day interactions and relationships with a diverse group of internal peers
- key analytical and business intelligence skills and detail oriented and able to accurately execute standard operating procedures
- have a good understanding of reference data and its impact to downstream consumers and clients
- curious mindset and experience of self-identifying problems and automation opportunities and self-learner who acquires knowledge through experience and exposure that the role provides, positive working attitude and willing to take up greater responsibilities when required
- experience of working in Change / Process improvement projects is a plus
- experience with Digital toolsets such as Alteryx, Robotics is a plus and knowledge of SQL and/or Python
