Join our motivated and enthusiastic actuarial team at Zurich Switzerland as Life Actuary You will be responsible for statistical analyses and assumption setting processes. These form the basis for IFRS17/SST/MCEV projections, local statutory reserving processes as well as pricing of insurance products. You will have a unique opportunity to leverage your proven skills in the developing IFRS17 data landscape. Zurich is an active member of the Swiss Insurance Association (SIA/SVV/ASA). Being part of SIA working groups will expose you to the insurance industry and provides you with the opportunity to represent Zurich.

**What you will do**
- You analyse statistical data within the exciting and new IFRS 17 data landscape
- You review and revise our existing process for derivation of best estimate assumptions
- You produce calculation parameters for economic projections, reserving and pricing (e.g. mortality tables, prudency margins, etc.)
- You ensure a timely and accurate reporting within SIA working groups
- You provide business insights to the management
- You support our business area’s senior management on assigned projects and ad hoc analysis

**What you bring**
- Actuarial qualification or readiness to aim for it
- Ideally 3 or more years of experience in an comparable position
- Very good knowledge of data analysis and statistics
- SQL/R/VBA knowledge
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to challenge and explain results
- Strong work ethic, self-starter and innovative personality
- Fluency in German and/or English (verbal and written)
