System Administrator

We are looking for a System Administrator (M/F) to strengthen the IT team of a major Swiss organization based in Geneva.
Vos missions
- Preventive Maintenance
- Carries out preventive maintenance tasks (supervision, regular checks, log file analysis) to ensure high operational availability of technical systems.
- Performs corrective maintenance, including troubleshooting, preparation, and execution of technical interventions to restore service availability.
- Participates in the deployment, modification, adaptation, and administration of hardware and software systems.
- Diagnoses technical issues, evaluates resolution options, and ensures appropriate corrective actions are implemented.
- Initiates and follows up change requests to enhance system functionality or performance.
- Regularly verifies proper functioning of equipment and analyzes incident and problem trends to maintain service quality.
- Coordinates or carries out with external vendors the repair of defective components, ensuring spare parts availability.
- Maintains up-to-date technical documentation for operating systems and maintenance activities.
- Manages hardware and system components according to asset management policies.
- Logs all technical actions and incident resolutions into the technical event log system.
- Complies with internal policies, particularly regarding safety and information security.
- Participates in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Vos compétences
- Leadership: able to lead activities taking all related aspects into consideration, provide clear guidance to his/her colleagues, good communicator, actively propose improvements
- At least 3 years' experience as a system administrator
- Very good knowledge of Vmware
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
- You have experience in a critical environment
- Good interpersonal skills,support and promote decisions, respect the field of responsibility of his/her colleagues, do not interfere outside his/her fields of responsibility
- Problem solving: Good level of mental/analytical skills required, proactive handling of problem
- Bilingual French and very good level of English
- A real bonus if you have ATM knowledge
