In order to reinforce the Aircraft Maintenance Team in Basel we are currently recruiting for an
**AOG Duty Manager**
In this position you will be responsible for providing support to our customers. The team of AOG Duty Managers provide 24/7 service coverage to respond to customer AOG requests and find a solution to dispatch the required resources to recover the aircraft as quickly as possible. Extensive and focused customer communication builds confidence in our superior ability to resolve any problem by deploying the full range of Jet Aviations service portfolio, no matter where in the world or when. In addition, the AOG Duty Manager is responsible for the administrative handling of the entire AOG project from planning to billing.
Description/Tasks:
- Respond to customer AOG request as per 24/7 roster
- Define appropriate AOG solution for customer including trouble shooting
- Dispatch AOG mechanics, tools, materials
- Assess possibility of aircraft re-location to base maintenance site
- Alternative lift
- Liaise with Jet Aviation sites or Gulfstream FAST or other third parties to find local solution if appropriate
- Collaborate with support functions to assure efficient and highest quality process
- Provide regular customer feedback
- Perform AOG project administration & billing
Qualification/Experience:
- Technical degree (BTS / Associate Degree / 1-2 years study in a professional / technical area)
- In depth understanding of the aerospace MRO industry, OEMs, and the regulatory framework
- Experience as an aircraft planning engineer or an Licensed Aircraft Technician/Engineer
- Strong communication skills
- Teamplayer
