Lead Technical Project Manager for Heat Exchangers

As Technical project manager, you will manage and execute the relevant project specific heat exchanger portfolio, based on “Built to print” detail design engineering set-up in your project. You will be responsible for the technical content of calculations for thermal equipment sizing, mechanical component strength determination, as well for ordering & manufacturing documentation input to workshop.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Thermal design calculations for Condenser, District Heaters, Feedwater Tanks and Deaerators
- Monitoring the engineering process within the overall project schedule by the Product groups by clear control and scheduling of Design Reviews,
- The on-time-delivery of engineering documentation, the engineering budgeted hours,
- Establishing of the project specific requirement used as an input for the design,
- Reporting to management,
- Ensuring the compliance of GE documentations toward the contract,
- Participating to the Tendering phase when required,
- Defining of the communication path and project organization toward the interfaces (Project Management, Supply Chain and Procurement, Customers),
- Coordinating NCRs, CCR (Clarification and Concession Requests) within Engineering during manufacturing, erection and commissioning,
- Providing technical support during manufacturing, erection and commissioning,
- Organizing and leading design review.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Engineering degree or equivalent technical degree
- Significant experience with Engineering activities in Thermal power plant technology
- Significant experience in heat exchanger equipment
- Good understanding in process engineering
- Basic knowledge of pressure vessels codes & mechanical Engineering
- Costing and offer preparation experience
- Good understanding of cost and performance drivers.
- Strong experience with European Project Execution
